My name is Shannon Mora Sanders, a 26 year-old artist currently residing in New Haven, Connecticut. I earned my BFA in Animation in May 2019 from Savannah College of Art and Design. As a kid I was obsessed with drawing self indulgent and derivative fantasy worlds and watching cartoons. As someone who craved attention but was also very shy, I loved to daydream about my own fantasy world where I was the most special and important.
Now as an adult, I like to explore these fantasy worlds, appreciating their beauty but also aware of their flaws. I like to find the mythic in the mundane and the cracks in castles. But sometimes I'll just draw fluffy clouds and rainbows because it's what makes me most happy. As of now, I am looking for work in either animation or illustration. I am best with digital painting and would love to do either book illustration or background painting.
